Connective – Diversity Flats

Connective is a registered not-for-profit charity in Kamloops that provides assistance with housing, health, life skills, and community-based support. Operating seven housing projects in the City of Kamloops, their existing 217 units of housing are integral to providing safe and meaningful services for their shareholders. The 60-unit housing project is a five-storey slab on grade, with a partial basement. It is a residential project containing 60 units of housing for singles and families, built to BC Housing’s design and construction standards. In addition to the 60 units, there are also shared internal and external amenity spaces and corporate office space on the first floor. Titled “Diversity Flats”, the building serves to champion equality in one another and this building will provide opportunities for residents to have meaningful exchanges, build healthy relationships, and experience comradery. Diversity is about appreciation, respect and empowerment and aligns with Connective’s vision of building a safe, healthy and inclusive community for all.
