M’akola Housing Society – Terrace Affordable Housing

Consisting of a three-storey residential development with surface parking and outdoor amenity space, the project will include a total of 47 units including a mix of one, two and three-bedroom units. Included in the building is an amenity room, bicycle storage room for residents, and office space for building staff. Designed and constructed to BC Building Code Step Code 3 requirements. The finished building will provide much needed affordable housing options to the City of Terrace. In pre-construction phase, IDL was responsible for producing construction cost estimates, provide expert advice on constructability, materials and trades availability, and was able to convert the project to a fixed fee construction execution by select tendering and negotiating with key trades.
