MOTI – Highway 16 & Domano/Tyner Intersection Improvements

Widening of Highway 16 for the addition of dual left turn lane kiosks and extended deceleration and acceleration lanes, removal of super-elevation grade between Domano and Tyner Boulevard intersection tie-ins, installation of storm drain and headwall, augered culvert, new curb and gutter, new centre-line traffic islands with paving stones, electrical (new traffic lights and relocated light pedestals), new asphalt pavement (non-rutting mix design), new concrete barrier and general landscaping to match PG Gateway beautification standard. This project was unique in that it was active 6 days per week, 24 hours per day due to very tight completion deadlines and project milestones that minimized traffic disruptions.
