Prince George Airport Authority – Warehouse Design-Build

Design-build project of a cross-dock cargo warehouse for the Prince George Airport Authority. Included three tenant spaces with office and warehouse space totalling 20,500ft² of warehouse space and 5,500ft² of office space. Construction was a pre-engineered building with wood-framed offices. Site works included 20,000m3 of cute, site servicing, grading and asphalt. The design-build schedule was based on a 5-month project delivery with site works starting in the spring of 2015 and final project delivery on November 1st, 2015. The design-build budget was set at $5,200,000. The project was delivered on time and IDL delivered the project $50,000 under the design budget, returning this amount as an unused contingency to the client.
